Timeline
10 Weeks, Creative Development to Final Film
A beautiful room is easy to show. The thinking that makes it coherent, comfortable, personal, and alive is harder to see. Experience Chartreuse needed a film that could reveal the work behind the feeling.
The Creative Partner
Experience Chartreuse is the event-design partnership of Alicia Walto and Sara Attayan. Alicia notices visual friction. Sara notices operational friction. Their work connects those two perspectives into celebrations that feel expressive, considered, and genuinely hospitable.

The Challenge

The room was visible. The value was not.

A standard styled-shoot recap would prove that Alicia and Sara can make something beautiful. It would not explain why the room works, how they collaborate, or what clients gain from having them lead the creative vision.
01
Invisible Expertise
Color, scale, movement, guest comfort, vendor flow, and personal meaning come together quietly. The film needed to make that thinking legible without turning into an explainer.
02
Two Founder Lenses
Their partnership is the mechanism. Alicia pushes the visual possibility forward. Sara grounds it in what can actually work. Both voices needed to feel distinct and connected.
03
Editorial With a Job
The day had models, multiple collaborators, and publication ambitions. The film still needed a clear business purpose: help planners and creatively overwhelmed clients understand what working with Experience Chartreuse feels like.

Our Approach

The QUEST Method.

We don't start with a camera. We start with questions. The QUEST Method is how we move from a blank page to a film that sounds like the people in it.
The original invitation was for video coverage of a styled shoot. The questionnaire and follow-up conversations revealed a larger opportunity: use the shoot as the visual world for a film about how Alicia and Sara think, collaborate, and make design approachable.
Q
Question
Asked what clients misunderstand about event design, who the film needed to reach, and what viewers should feel when it ended.
U
Understand
Identified two audiences, planners and creatively overwhelmed hosts, and one central promise: you will feel understood, supported, and excited to create.
E
Express
Built a hybrid interview approach around candid setup reflections, active collaboration, one intentional seated conversation, and a finished-space reveal.
S
Shape
Wove Alicia's visual perspective and Sara's operational perspective through color, texture, movement, humor, and the small adjustments that make the room work.
T
Transfer
Delivered one two-minute horizontal brand film and three vertical social versions, creating a small content system from one collaborative production day.

Production

One day. One world. Two ways of seeing.

Follow the Work
Alicia and Sara were mic'd during setup so the film could capture the small observations, adjustments, laughter, and problem-solving that normally disappear before guests arrive.
